    2015 College Baseball Thread

#6 Texas went to Houston to face #13 Rice Owls at Reckling Park. The series was split 2-2. Texas took game one on Friday, Rice took both games of the double header on Saturday, and Texas took game four on Sunday. Both teams were evenly matched and all were very good games.

Flower Mound grad and Freshman Kyle Johnston came on to the mound for the Horns in game 4 in the 10th inning with a runner on 2nd and 1 out. It was his first outing of the year and he hit 96 mph a couple of times. He took down the next two Owls and got his first career save. Look out for Brett Boswell and Kyle Johnston this year for the Horns.

    TCU > horns or owls.

Seriously, there are going to be some great games this Spring. Lots of teams are solid and ready to make runs.
Never argue with an idiot. They’ll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Texas beat UTSA 14-2 yesterday. Tres Barrera went 5-6 with a 3 run homerun and 6 rbi's. Texas moves to 3-2 on the season and squares off with The University of Minnesota at home in a 4 game series.

UH (6-0), and #3 in the country. Josh Vidales (La Porte alumni) had three RBIs to lead them to a come from behind win against Alabama 14 to 9.

His sister--Tori Vidales (Fr. for the Aggies) is also playing very well.

Frogs lose to AZ ST yesterday with rubber game of series this afternoon. At 5-1 the Frogs are in great shape, and facing a quality team like ASU this early is great for the development.
