I wouldn’t say theyre done, I mean PSJA beat SA Johnson last night lol.

The Rockwall game last night was pretty wild.

I guess there's a chance. But Heath blew CW out and didn't even throw their #1 guy. Powell has like a 0.068 era. Rockwall beat Heath in Powell's start back in March 2-1 but Powell didn't get the loss. He's been virtually unhittable since then. Cy-Woods has a massive uphill battle tonight.

Rockwall messed around leaving their pitcher in too long. He's been struggling badly his last 2-3 starts. Can't throw strikes. He needs to throw strikes and let the D do its job. Rockwall may have the best infield in the state. Including the pitcher, there are five P5 guys out there. 3rd, SS, and 2nd as good as any in the state. Catcher as well. Just let them make outs for you.

Baylor stadium should be pretty intense today with those two games and those four teams.

You were right. Cy Woods with the win in game three today, 8-4 over Heath and they win the series.

Great game. I’m sure that kid is a great pitcher, but he also probably hasn’t pitched against anyone remotely as good as Cy Woods since playing Rockwall, and there’s a reason they were 34-3 or whatever they were. It’s interesting how these series’ can completely change on a dime. That kid getting pulled in the 4th probably hurt them a lot in the end.

woods And the wall is good game so far too.

                  Some pretty good matchups…

Guyer is the only team where I question if they are actually a worthy finalist. Their regular season was nowhere near as impressive as any of these other teams and their path to get here was kind of a cakewalk.

Woodlands got the huge win over Rockwall last week, their pitching is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Should be a good series. Woodlands wins enough **** so I will be pulling for Cy Woods.

Looking back at Katy’s results through the season, they had some really good wins, and I feel like #24 is a misrank, should have been at least 8 or so spots higher, and through the playoffs they have proven it. That said, I really like this Pearland team and want to see all the best teams make it to Dell. Should be a good series.

Westlake-Johnson is a big one. Top 4 matchup. I’ve seen Westlake roughly Half a dozen times this year and Johnson only once. But I think Westlake is a noticeably better team. Johnson is very similar to their district mate Reagan though, in that they don’t look that flashy but just win games.

Hmmm… guess I’ll give my kiss of death to Pearland.

The only ones I just can’t see winning it all are Guyer, Katy, and SA Johnson. Which means one of them will probably win.

Deep playoff runs are, in part, wars of attrition.
