Reminds me of Cub's in Georgetown in early 80s, Cub had a couple of utility spools turned up as tables and served Brisket, Ribs, and Sausage off of 4 old 55g drum smokers on Fridays and Saturdays just SW of the Courthouse square. $5/plate or $10/all you can eat. Good memories.

Hard 8 - Coppell
Asked for them to pull out a fresh brisket, they did. I asked for the tip trimmed and sliced, they did. Had 1/2 lb of brisket, 1/2 lb of sausage, twice baked potato salad, and blackberry cobbler. The free Pinto Beans with jalapenos were great. Was absolutely phenomenal. Brisket was moist with big smoke ring, sliced properly and melt in mouth finish. Very pricey as lunch for two of us was $60. I'd do it again though. Very, very good. and y'all were right the atmosphere is excellent.Comment
