Any thought on who you would like to see replace Neville next season (since it's only a one year deal with the team but confirmed we'll be in the event next year) in the Battle of the Border showdown?

Someone on Smoaky in the dream matchup mentioned Hoover, which would be a huge get for the event obviously. Definitely hoping it's someone from outside of Louisiana at the very least.
JC is already a possibility from what I'm told. Will more than likely be in the showcase again for sure. And if not....

King will TRY once again to get a quality opponent in state. If the "no's" start popping up again...OOS we'll go.

Yep. Won't have to save me a seat because I'm usually pretty early. I'm no joke on the highway.

Hope to see the Lufkin faithful as well.

How will he try and get an opponent in state when we already signed onto the Battle on the Border for a two year deal (this year and next)? Hayden confirmed it was an additional two years when the schedule came out but that the Neville deal was only one.

Hee Hee, neither am I. I am positive that we will be able to get seats for the Marshall game, right up till game time. (on the Marshall side that is.) Not trying to sit with the Parkway fans again this year. They were hell to contend with last year. And that early in the morning, I am sure that they don't want to get my hair raised up!!!

I think 84 will blow a gasket if she doesn't meet you this season.

We signed on for two years? Keep getting conflicting info on that.

In that case..90% chance it'll be JC. Actually..reduce that percentage. Only reason JC was even in the BOTB this season was because the showcase in NOLA that they were going to be in was cancelled. But that's my pick.

                  Found the confirmation...

@Lobo_Football @hayden_h confirm or deny Neville is just a one year agreement?
                  1:21 PM - 3 Feb 2014
@Lobo_Football Feb 3 @hayden_h thought so, thanks for the confirmation. Battle on the Border two years though?
@hayden_h Feb 3 @Lobo_Football yes, two years on BotB, which picks opponents as well.

"Only Hebron (Carrollton), Plano (TX), and Plano West (TX) have victories in the recent history with each team earning those tallies over Allen in 2010, 2005, and 2004, respectively."

Is it my imagination, but didn't we beat Allen in 09? Just throwing that out there.

And of course the story goes beyond starters. We'll have our share of contributors. There will be times when Chumley will lineup outwide giving the QB duties to Cam Castleberry and/or transfer Michael Ross.
