Could be AT&T, could be home and home. Just depends on the availability of AT&T.

      • Regardless, the playoff game has nothing to do with a non district series.

We NEED that game SO bad! Wow. How, I wish John King would go ahead sew that up somehow. It has to be played in Abilene, though. Nobody's driving all the way to Ector County, Texas.

Earliest home game since 2007 vs John Curtis, which was on FSSW.

Thankfully won't be anywhere near as warm.

Looks like they're using that as a bye week, and a 9-game regular season. Argh.

                            • 2019 was a rough year from upperclassmen in the WR group in terms of drops. But one thing that I have assured throughout the off-season is that the Lobo WR group as a whole will be much better in 2020. Not necessarily just because of the starters, but because of the depth.

Flying under the radar going into the season are two slot pass catchers who were studs on Longview's 9-1 JV last fall, 2021 SR WR Kam Sublett (5'8.5 165) and 2022 JR DeKalon Taylor (5'7 150). Sublett is a crisp short to intermediate route runner with good hands. Quick feet. He has actually been one of the more active players on the team in terms of off-season work, working out with some of the more well known trainers around the state throughout the summer. Could be a secret weapon this fall. https://twitter.com/Lil_Kam4/status/1279171133733048320

Now, looking for someone who can take the top off of defenses and burn a secondary deep? That's DeKalon Taylor. Taylor actually has pretty high potential for Longview the next two years. He caught my eye last spring and don't let the size fool you, he is very talented and sneaky good. He reminds me of Keilyn Williams in that he is very strong for his size and packs a punch that you wouldn't expect. He may not impress you size wise, but like Keilyn Williams, he plays like he's 6'4 200. Trying to get through the summer? Do yourself a favor and checkout Taylor's Hudl page. Very entertaining. https://www.hudl.com/profile/12705832/DeKalon-Taylor

There's always that breakout SR in Longview that played JV the year before. Could Sublett be the one?
