Hopefully one separates from the other and they’re forced to play just one. Their running game though should be on point with those 2 D1 RBs behind that big OL.

And you know with Paul being a samples disciple, he's going to rely on his defense to win a championship and I hear they’re more stout than last year.

He got pretty last year and it lost them a game they should have won by 50 points. He is definitely going to be running as much as possible lol.

He’s got porter and lacy, 2 good sized, 200+ lb, backs that can grind it out. I thought he had a 3d RB too, really no excuse to get cute.

Looks like a pretty good season ahead for you guys.

Not sure what to expect from Austin area schools. Top 5 will be solid for sure but not unbeatable.

Lancaster absolutely is a contender in 5AD1 though this year
5AD1 comes down to three teams: Aledo, Lancaster, and Longview. Hard to imagine anyone beating those teams in the playoffs except each other. I will say a team from the R3/R4 side that could surprise people is PSJA North.

Any Valley team might surprise a few in Reg 4, but PSJA North would not come within 60 pts of Aledo or Longview. They probably wouldn't even make the Playoffs in Aledo's dist.

                    Three strong programs.

5AD2 will be run to the Championship by Colleyville Heritage High School. Mark it down, write it in stone.

Those 3 for sure, but I wouldn’t discount Ryan. They have a few top end players. I’d be surprised if they have back to back underperforming years

PSJA North isn't a surprise to anyone....they went 13-1 last year and return 21 starters....they are the favorite in Region IV

I know Ryan had some injury issues last year but for me they will have to prove it. They went 7-4, lost in the first round of the playoffs, graduated their stud LB, RB, and their best player WR Bailey. Do I think Ryan could end up in the Region 1 final? Yes. However, they have a lot of work to do before they can join the short list of title contenders.
