It was KF, they had Watkins on the anchor at state because the 4x2 didn’t qualify.

      Well there ya go.

Can’t complain when The Woodlands has a 4 star WR and a Penn State RB commit, who ran a 10.8 100m as a 9th grader, not even run track.

I’ve always wonder what some of The Woodlands FBS level WR’s, who never ran track would have run if they did.

Usually, The Woodlands relays are a mishmash of football guys and track guys, who the track coach helped max out during their 3-4 years in track class.

Dickinson had the state champ in the 100 and runner up in the 300. He also long jumped 25 ft to place second. Our relays always get jinxed at regionals otherwise our 7th place finish in state could improve.

        Congrats to Klein Forrest✅✅✅

Your guy and our guy went 1-2 in the 100m and 2-1 in the long jump (or vice versa lol). Where’s he running in college?
Deep playoff runs are, in part, wars of attrition.

Yea you’re right and I noticed that but forgot to mention. Not sure where he’s going but will find out. One of our Gators was in the finals of the Olympic Trials for the triple jump for Japan but missed out…
Oddly enough our guy finished second in regional in the 100 and first in LJ but reversed it yet again with your guy..lol☘️☘️☘️

Our guy (Torns) is heading to Miami to run for “The U”. Best wishes to your guy (Johnson) wherever he’s headed.

Thanks so much and good fortunes to you and the Chaps who really rep Texas very well…
Rice has been interested in our players lately since we have a good group of honor students that knock school work out of the park thanks to there parents and also Coach Snelson who takes grades very seriously.
We just sent another to Rice and those that have gone have all graduated and most with Honors…

Rice is going to see an uptick in recruits since Coach Kay is there. Their now getting kids on campus and visits with kid who would have never considered Rice before

After 10+ runner-ups across all sports since moving to the highest classification in 2016, we finally won a state title. Go lady golfers.

...Westlake didn't win another golf title???? What is going on....

Congrats to the ladies of Steiner Ranch. It has to be tough playing UT Golf Club everyday, yet they persevered. Are the Vipers in the running for a boys title?

Oh don’t you worry. Next week they’ll win by 20+ and all will be right in the world. Their girls didn’t make state, region 4 is insane in golf.

Our boys missed state this year for the first time in a long time (ever?). As long as Westlake continues to have 8+ kids who consistently shoot under par I don’t know if anyone will beat them. We’ve been the closest recently, we might be close next year but I think in 2 years will be our best shot at someone beating them finally because our best golfers are Sophomores.

Hypothetical question, here...who would have a better shot at winning state:
                            Calvin Knoaks coaching Duncanville football
                            or
                            Reginald Sample coaching Westlake golf

Allen's wrestling coach is the correct answer
