Depends on how you measure it. I'm guessing DFW top 25 will have more good teams than GHA top 25. That probably has been the case for a while now

I actually think people listing out their top 25 programs from DFW and GHA would be fun.

Personally I think GHA has depth. DFW is top heavy.

I think this would be fun, especially if you stick to 6A only...once you get to 5A I think DFW blows past Houston (Houston was kinda down in 5A this year)

I like to put the GHA teams in tiers. Note tier 3 and tier 4 are hard to order because there isn’t much separating some of these teams. Also the tiers are unordered meaning I think every team in the same tier is relatively close to each other.

Tier 1: North Shore

Tier 2: Katy, Atascocita, Westfield

Tier 3 (This is where it gets hard to group the teams): The Woodlands, Tompkins, C.E King, Summer Creek, Dickinson, Klein Collins, Cy Fair, Ridge Point, Shadow Creek, Klein Cain

Tier 4: Clear Springs, Clear Falls, Bridgeland, Pearland, Pearland Dawson, Cinco Ranch, Paetow, Lamar, Cy Ranch, FB Hightower

The top 3 teams in DFW were very good last year but the depth was much weaker than usual. SLC was decent as #4. Most seasons DFW 4-10 would blow GHA's 4-10's doors off. That's the main difference in my eyes. NS and Katy are salty anywhere - though I think Katy isn't Katy if they're in DFW D1 playoffs year in and year out.

Teams like Martin, Allen, Rockwall, who are 5-7 most years in DFW are very good teams any other place. Look at what Martin and Rockwall have done to LT.

Rockwall has been a very salty 5 up until this last year. Not sure what the future holds.
