Wow, nobody plays a game of Thump-a-Stump in the playoffs better than Coach Kay!

Can’t say enough about the defense. Jackson played great in the secondary. I loved his knockdown on that long pass. The only thing in the way of 6 points. Brown was under high heat all night long.

Cita only had 7 yards rushing.. Zion Brown tapped dance into the line of scrimmage and sometimes just fell down before contact. He was at a point to where he wasn't even looking down field, he was seeing where the defenders were because they was about to body slam him.
    ---------------------NS----A
    Total Plays-------69---59
    Total yards-------403--198
    Passing Yards 126 191
    Rushing Yards 277 7
    First Downs------16---10

Next week's game is at Rice @3pm no matter who wins the Brennan/Westlake game.

I could see the Cita defense getting tired and having some resignation in the fourth qtr. They looked like they were ready to go home. NS on the other hand seemed intense for the whole game. Of course being ahead helped that but I believe NS had the mental edge. Other than some long pass completions against them, the defense was excellent. They are much better than my perception of them is. I watched the defensive tackles literally shove and drive back the O linemen into crushing the pocket. Kay’s conditioning program is top notch. Amador is amazing and I love watching him. He brings excitement to the offense at every play. He has amazing speed and can snake through defenses for yardage. He does need to learn to throw the ball away at times. No complaints just an observation!

    Good observation...

Like I stated NS was due for a statement win. Even though they had dominated their recent opponents you could tell something was off and they were gonna be in trouble come semifinals. Putting Amador at QB fulltime is just what they needed and now they are hitting on all cylinders again. NS vs Westlake should be a classic.

I have no gripes with Kay's performance... he made the correct call.

The only thing I would like to add is that can we one-time be the one that purchases the homeless that plays refs a room to stay for the night and the box of wine? This way we don't have all of the penalties. Just like in the last couple of weeks, both teams were causing penalties, but NS were the only one getting the yellow from the refs.
Yeah I'm not sure what their bias is against us. There were a few blatant penalties that happened right in front of the refs that they didn't call. Let them know I'm taking them out to dinner if it's going to smooth things over with them
