The chatter is higher on the Eagle side in a way that evolves a NS motivation. I can see NS going silent pretty soon and that’s bad news for Atascocita for sure.
Game is gonna be epic in my opinion and NS will find its “groove” and slip, slide, or slam their way to victory! 🤡🤡🤡👍 2Comment

For the record I’m not referring to the number of posts here. It’s the silence in the streets or noise. The game is toss up until it starts in my opinion and with that a
44-23 score sounds right!👍 2Comment

If North Shore makes the QB position dynamic, I like their chances. If they are going to have Jackson play like Tom Brady and sit in the pocket like I've seen so far, I like Atascocita's chances quite a bit. Amador flat out won the regular season game for North Shore when it looked like the Eagle defense had them dead to rights. If Atascocita doesn't have to respect the QB as an athlete, I'm not sure I've seen enough from Jackson passing wise to where I think he sits back there and carves Cita up. Choo Choo and Hardeman will need the added QB threat this week against an elite defense. We haven't seen Jackson challenged by anything resembling a top level defense, so this is going to get interesting quick.👍 4Comment

Turnovers are not his issue. His issue is not being effective against elite teams. Go look at the Katy game where he failed to make throws to tie the game, go look at the NS game and it’s the same thing. He’s biggest strength is running, unfortunately he’s playing a team who’s biggest strength is run defense. I think he’s going to have the same type of game he did in the last matchup. His throwing hasn’t gotten any better since.👍 3Comment

In my opinion, there are players who are quick, players who are fast, and players who seem to be both. Zion is a player who is fast, because he requires a straighter path (I.e., 100M dash) to pickup speed but is not quick by any means. Players who are quick can reach high velocity within a few steps and can move bi-directional with speed. Not many have both in highschool, but that’s the reason why I think Zion is not as good in tight spaces with his feet. However, it he can get an open stretch, he will probably win the foot race.

its the same for Blaylock , he has straight line speed , he lacks that quickness. He runs hard and takes alot of unnecessary hits, kid has missed out on a gang of yards and TDs due to lack of quickness/ shiftiness.
Now 22 has speed and quickness, he needs more touches this week.👍 3Comment

I'm gonna say the game is close in the first half and they then start Amador for the entire second half. NS then wins 28-17👍 2Comment

Well Said, Zion has track speed(Straight Line), he lacks the quickness to get out of tough spots .My issue with Zion is on alot of his throws he does not have his feet set which we all know affects the accuracy of the pass. He has strong arm, he just needs to settle down and set his feet and make the throw.
