  • 23 for Cita can play for me anytime. Best of luck to that young man where ever he goes.

Cita I hope you have a qb battle this off-season. 1 looked scared.

NS- I’m a fan and didn’t think we would come out looking this sharp. Still things to clean up but gosh the way they played tonight on all 3 phases of the game was impressive.

#23 is a freak. Idk how he does it… Even when everyone’s heads were hanging low, he somehow still has that spark. Tremendous character.

Definitely not better, but North Shore's defense was definitely better. Clip was loaded with blanks.

This move also put one our best defenders back in the secondary where we were missing him.

              • Amador at QB was the right call. (15 carries - 159 yards) and a touchdown. Through the air, he finished the game 11 of 17 for 126 yards with one touchdown. EJ (now Backup QB) playing safety also was the right move. Had several pass break ups where he closed on 2 wide open deep balls to break them up. NS coaching staff game plan and halftime adjustments were championship caliber.
The defense held Cita to 205 total yards and Cita had 3 long pass completions that accounted for 120 of those yards so 85 yards total for the rest of the game. Complete domination.

It definitely was the right call. He just has that "it" factor back there that EJ doesn't seem to have. Also that allowed EJ to move back to free safety where he's excelled at the past two years and moved Anderson back to strong safety bringing balance back to the defense

                      • And this is why I have been so adamant with Amador being QB and EJ being back at safety.
I have no gripes with Kay's performance... he made the correct call.

The only thing I would like to add is that can we one-time be the one that purchases the homeless that plays refs a room to stay for the night and the box of wine? This way we don't have all of the penalties. Just like in the last couple of weeks, both teams were causing penalties, but NS were the only one getting the yellow from the refs.

Yeah I'm not sure what their bias is against us. There were a few blatant penalties that happened right in front of the refs that they didn't call. Let them know I'm taking them out to dinner if it's going to smooth things over with them

                            • Unlike most football game where you see the offense wearing down the defense.... This is the second week in a row that I have noticed NS's defensive line totally wearing down the other team's offensive line in the 3rd quarter. I have noticed also; this is when the defense really turns on the blitzes.

                              • Like I stated NS was due for a statement win. Even though they had dominated their recent opponents you could tell something was off and they were gonna be in trouble come semifinals. Putting Amador at QB fulltime is just what they needed and now they are hitting on all cylinders again. NS vs Westlake should be a classic.
