This game is at Baylor? That just makes no sense.

Congrats to SLC on beating Guyer! Weather in Waco right now looks good for Saturday. 61 high no precip. Let's hope the forecast holds!

It's the opposite direction of what makes sense to me, but what an awesome place to play at-I think it's fantastic setting and place to play. Should be heck of a lot of fun.

Ask the players if they would like to play at Baylor in their new diggs. This is something the band and players can say years from now, I play there in HS PO game. Congrats to both teams for makeing the thrid round.

But if you were against Abilene, this is better. Lol.

San Angelo to McLane- 3.5 hours (Same distance as to the Death Star). Southlake to McLane- 2 hours. No biggie. We've had district games farther than that.

Shady, Congrats on your win last night!! If you can point me to a site that has up to date stats for SAC, I would be happy to do a team comparison post similar to post #2 on the SLC/Guyer thread.

Yea, it's not as bad as I was making it out to be in my head. I think the extra loud speakers at Dr. Jones' House of Pain rattled something lose in my head, I'm pretty sure I thought San Angelo was further west then it actually is, not so much.

I'll send them to you or you can direct me to SLC's and I'll update OP. Maxpreps has them but one game's stats aren't inputted for some reason so I will need to add them in via that game's newspaper box score. On their weekly podcast the beat writer also realized the were shortchanged quite a bit of plays and yardage in the Bowie game, not sure if that will be officially corrected.

Ha, heard it over the radio last night and couldn't tell which team it was. Probably the most used fight song. Midland also uses it. We do have an original, uptempo school song though.

I'm compiling stats right now. I only have 'for sure' accurate stats through nine games so adding the last three to that. Then I'll put up a SLC13-esque team comparison.
