Your 20’7 long jump is a good jump anyway you slice it and had you been in class A, Region 3 you would have qualified for state finishing second to a 21-00.00 jump. You would have also done very well in Region 2 AAA by winning the regional by 3 inches.
All in all there are a lot of great jumps in class A,AA,AAA, etc… with a 24-05.00 in AAA and 4 23 plus jumps scattered about.. Good athletes all over these schools. days…👍

I saw KF ran a sub 1:24 in the 4x2. The Woodlands still holds the all-time national record at 1:23.25, from 2018. That same year they were one of five high school teams to ever run a sub 39.99 in the 4x1, holding one of the 5 fastest times in HS track history.

It would only make sense that a national track relay record that was held by a school from DFW was broken from a team in the GHA, would then be broken by another team from the GHA.

That 4x1 for The Woodlands that ran a top 5 all time 39.98 didn't even win state, because Katy Seven Lakes ran the 2nd fastest time of all time at 39.80 that same race at state. Katy SL tied the 2nd fastest 4x1 time ever which was just held by Port Arthur Memorial the year prior.

Texas, and (bias held) Houston area speed and athletics is just different.
