Can you imagine if they’re so deep on the DL that they could experiment with Simmons at OLB? Whoa!

This defense like the 2018 won’t have the star power in terms of rankings at LB’s but has some dogs at the position. Cruz was a baller with no d1 offers in 2018 and I’d say he’s been the best Panthers LB in the past 5 years! The DL depth is crazy as well. I think some of the kids who will be starting were pissed that they didn’t play last year and will be on a mission. If the 2 young corners on the outside are as advertised then I think they will be better than last year overall. I think it’s dependent on those corners though!

Simmons makes everything/everyone better. No OT in Texas can handle him and QBs will make mistakes because of it. The WRs won't have time to get all the way into routes except QBs rolling away from Simmons. Good luck with that. Better get rid of the ball.

They have good size for both DEs. That middle will be massive. I saw January’s 247 profile as 6’4 325!

Frisco Memorial football coach Derick Roberson named Duncanville ISD Athletic Director
Duncanville’s new athletic director spent 23 years in Dallas ISD where he earned his first head coaching job at Bryan Adams. After five years there, he spent three years as a Dallas ISD assistant athletic director and three seasons as Skyline’s head coach before leaving for Memorial. Congrats Coach Rob.

Basketball:
DESOTO ISD names Rob Wright as the new Boys Basketball Head Coach. Wright led Dallas Carter to 2 state appearances & 3 straight reg finals. Has also served as an asst at Texas, GW, and TCU. Also has strong ties to the Grassroots basketball community. Congrats Coach Rob.
