Almost getting beat at home in front of 10k fans, getting 20 unanswered points scored on you. People telling you this team is nothing compared to the previous teams. Atascocita saying how they've closed the gap between the two schools



I think that's more than enough bulletin board material and hunger.

NS is not as good as the Davis led teams on offense. No one expected the offense to keep playing at that level as Davis was a generational talent. The defense is actually better than the 19’ and 20’ seasons. The 18’ defense was special and raised the bar. Outside of QB(I think the freshman is special) the biggest thing I see is the OL doesn’t have the dominating monsters of years past. NS has a stable of RBs that most of the schools in the country would trade for in a heartbeat. Thought Amador would have a bigger year at WR.

The truth is for 2021 is gonna come true and we know it for almost certain.
North Shore does not have the extra gears to push around teams like the Eagles or Ridge Point or Dickinson or Katy or LT or a bunch ot teams from the recent past.
North Shore will go down very soon but that’s only because they are human this year.

I have been to some practices and Stump is definitely holding back on the playbook. There is a bunch of stuff that is not being ran during the games that I see in practice. Don’t know if he is not trusting Zion fully yet , as he can stare down the receiver a lot, or is he holding back for this game. If I remover Zion played pretty decent the first NS Game so hopefully he unleashes the whole offense.

But let’s give props to the Defense , they are playing some pretty good ball right now.

Sadly, I don’t really see Atascocita winning this one. Sometimes I watch the games and I wonder in my mind, “what the h**** is the quarterback thinking” when he throws his infamous back-foot Hail Mary that almost never works… As someone has already said before, the only way Atascocita wins this one is with a night of amazing punts, low penalties, and sound defense. This would be nothing short of a miracle. I’ve got North Shore by 2 touchdowns.

I’m gonna say that the Eagles should win this one by 7-10.
The curtain had been pulled in the land of North Oz…I don’t believe the Mustangs can use their reputation from the past much longer with the tepid results as proof.
I see the Eagles settle down and face a team that is not as hungry as the last two were!👍

Yep. Playing on reputation really wins you games. Just ask Carthage and Aledo. We all know NS is not the same team as 2018 but I’m elated they’ve gone as far as they have. Certainly not on reputation. How many fans wish their team made it this far. I’ve watched both Cita and NS and I believe NS has the edge. If they lose, they lose and will be back next year. It’s been a good season. 😁

The secondary isn't as fast or skilled as it has been the past few years

I don't think anyone thought we'd keep playing at the insanely high level we played at in 18-20 but I also don't think they thought we'd have such a drop off.

It was like we went from World Class QB and 5 kids waiting to be next man up to just find a kid who can catch the snap and hopefully hand it off

He's nursing a injury. He went out midway through the 3rd in the Springs game and never returned. Hopefully he's ready to go for Friday
