District is always competitive and we usually fall aslerp at some point but this year looks oddly different and somewhat will be a sledge hammer team from start to finish…😳😳😳Comment

I forgot to ask how you guys at Springs are looking?
Who do you play in pre-district?
We open the season at home against Atascocita who will be visiting our house in for the first time ever after playing them 4 times already. We follow up with Klein Oak, Pasadena Dobie and Ridge Pointe away. Not in the exact order but Atascocita first.

Things will be interesting this year because we have a starting QB returning for the first time in about 4 years. There is a soph QB that could overtake him eventually but probably not this season. We play Katy, Shadow Creek, Klein Forest, and Huntsville in pre district probably looking at 2-2 maybe 3-1 if we beat Shadow Creek. The offense returns a lot but the defense is a big question mark right now. The main goal this year is beating Falls after losing 2 years in a row to them.

I recall a Sophomore played against Katy last year and threw some long passes on them. I think his name was Martinez and he busted their secondary up a bit if you ask me…✅

He looked good to me especially as a soph. He had a 75 yard completion I believe and he had one or two TD passes. I may be off a tad but pretty close on those stats.
As I was watching that game I was very impressed with Salazar and hope he gets a fair shot and good reps because he has talent.
Another topic which is good forSprings is that after this year you guys will be D-2 eligible as I’m betting big that Falls passes you by 100-300 students to drop you to third or 4th. Another possibility is that Galveston will move up to 6A as they had right at 2000 or 1958 last count?
In any case you guys deserve a shot at D-2☘️☘️☘️Comment

District 24-6A My picks:
(1) Clear Springs
(1) Clear Falls
(1) Dickinson All teams 5-1
(4) Brazoswood 3-3/4-2
(5) Clear Lake 3-3
(6) Clear Creek 2-4
(7) Clear Brook 1-5
Dickinsons will have the most talent I’m pretty sure… Falls and Springs will have the motivation and game plans as usual that affords them great district outcomes of late.
Springs wants revenge and they will get it against Falls IMO and it may not or probably will not be close..😳
Brazoswood is gonna improve all around and will clip the remaining CCISD teams with their favorite team to spank being Clear Lake who they have a rivalry going back to the 90’s. Lake will flop again IMO…😳😳😳
Brook and Creek could put up a fight for the 4th spot and Lake could go 0-10 but my crystal ball is not gonna tell anything until week one as that is all it should take considering…Comment

I see Dickinson winning this year going 6-0 in district. We should finish higher than Falls because I just don't see them being that good this year.Comment

You never know in 24-6A District play and especially the last three weeks of the season.
I see the Region 3 scenery changing a bit this year as a handful of teams in both D-1 and D-2 are gonna be out to smash the norm of the past 10 years or so.
Atascocita is in first place to upset things as well as a few others in D-1 and a few teams that make up D-2 have a shot.
