  • San Angelo Central (4-3, 4-0) vs Odessa Permian (6-2, 4-1) Fri 11/20 7pm SA Stadium

Should be a good one. I'm ready, first time they've been able to play in a few years. Bobcats are on a five game winning streak vs. Permian. DCTF computer (not sure if it will change when it updates in a day or two) has Permian as a two point favorite. That doesn't take into account the home field advantage in San Angelo. Poll at the bottom.

started with three losses, a young team that wasn't ready to face some pretty good teams in non-district all on the road but have been rolling since. has been a little up and down but beat Lee and has looked good the last couple weeks.

    Kickoff: Friday 11/20 7pm
    Location: San Angelo Stadium
Live stream: Concho Sports Network https://youtube.com/conchosports

The elephant in the room is how both played the common foe Abilene. In spite of that I'll go with DC and go with Black and White.

If Permian really has trouble against the pass I think the Bobcats will win by a couple touchdowns. The potential wrench thrown in that is the Bobcats have injury issues. But not sure how healthy Permian is.

We do have problems defending a pass,,,among other things. I don't know about our injuries other than we've had a lot of different starters this season.

Due to the spike in Covid cases only 2,500 will be allowed in the stadium. No ticket sales in San Angelo except for up to four tickets made available to parents of participants (players, band, etc.) not to exceed 2,500. Included in the 2,500 is 700 for Permian parents of participants.

I heard we had sold around 500 of the tickets at last count yesterday. I'm wondering if they'll go ahead and open the ticket office today or not. There's been a lot of confusion about who can buy tickets if parents didn't buy them all.

Hope not, aren't able to do that in SA. Participant parents and household up to four only.

Our athletics office is saying no, that whatever sold yesterday is final. Same for y'all, apparently they're happy to have even less than 2,500 in the stadium tomorrow.
