You’d think with all the people that live in cypress the thread would be more active. Maybe as Bridgeland becomes bigger they’ll get some people on here.

I was wondering where this thread went. I may very well be the last CFISD person standing.

So, Coach Zepeda will be the new UIL's Athletic Director, and Dr. Henry will be retiring as superintendent. It's going to be a new era for Cy-Fair ISD...

Complete shot in the dark, since I've paid almost no attention:

Jersey Village has been one of the better teams in the area the past two seasons. I'd place them 2nd or 3rd in district 17

I can never really get a good read on JV. They've always been one of the more high-variance teams in the district, and they took a decent-sized step back last year.

Snokhous is the most senior tenured coach in CFISD, correct? I have him starting in 1997.

Interesting that there was a stretch there for about a decade when his teams are perpetual 3-7 or 2-8 level teams. Not sure too many coaches could survive that many losing seasons today. And then the 2018 season came along where they won district undefeated...but lost badly to Katy in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Got give him his due for sticking it out. A lot of coaches might have jumped at the chance to open up the plethora of schools that have come along since then in CFISD.

Well, there's one big downside of putting out projections in June. Major blow for Cy Creek.

Fairly big loss. He was slated to be Cy-Fair's starting RB.

Well actually... the senior in front of him is decent, but I think this kid was gonna start anyways. He has the physical upside to be an every-down back, which is the perfect fit for Cy-Fair's system.

Saw the players practicing this past week and wondered what the outlook was for Cy Ranch Mustangs. I haven't followed much since son graduated back in 2019.
Will One and Done McAuliffe get it done this year in the playoffs? 3 years of losing in the 1st round when they should have won is discouraging.
