I’m very nervous about this game. This is the first game where Trinity legitimately needs to bring their A game to win.

Really? The way I see it, the only team anywhere near Trinity’s level that Lamar has played was Martin. What was that final score? I agree though. If they don’t play like they are capable of, it might be a problem.

                  #6 on Trinity probably won't be playing....I'm a little worried, he's a beast.

I’d say Trinity is somewhere right between Lamar and Martin. Lamar is definitely capable of playing up to Trinity’s level, and Trinity is definitely capable of playing down to Lamar’s. I think Trinity is better, but I think the final will be closer than it should be.

The main offensive strength I see in Lamar is a fair passing game. However, it is not because they have a stellar QB. The combination of the schedule and pass attempts gets the results. Their running game is pretty weak, and Trinity should be able to control that. If Trinity comes out with the fire they sometimes have, they should have good results. Let's hope they have a game plan that musters the best out of the players.

“This message was to everyone out there, especially Lamar. We’re coming for them,” Vaomotou said. “I expect this every week, every day, every hour. We’re coming all out, pounding the rock.”

And water is wet. I suspect Lamar is coming for Trinity and wanting to beat them.
Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

I really don’t think the comment will affect the game. I’d just rather he not have said that.

This should be a good game vs the Viqueens. I think it'll be a tightly contested game throughout. I haven't seen Lamar but I'm going by what others say who are more familiar with them. And to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Trinity loses this game. Days of being surprised are over.

I've watched every Trinity game and it's still a mystery to me about what to expect. The Haltom game I can't get out of my head but since then they've played like most of us know they're capable of albeit against lesser teams than we'll face Friday. So who knows?
