      Lobos by 14+

I have seen both teams play, Westfield has a great D-line and are very tough vs. the run, but the Lobos have a great O-line so it should be a very good match up in the trenches. The Lobos passing game will be the difference, if the Jags had a better passing they would be playing us in R4. IMO
I see the Lobos winning by 14+. Westfield's Offense is not that good and the Lobos Defense is way better than the Jags. The game will be decided by the 3rd qtr barring a complete melt down by the lobos.
Oh and if I have not said it before be ready for an un-disciplined team that are poor sports, it will get ugly once the Lobos get up by 2 scores. Wait and see.

Longview by a long margin of victory. Snoozefest.

This will go one of two ways. A defensive battle or a true shootout. If Westfield coaching staff (namely on offense) can get out of their own way, I have no reason to believe they can't win this game. They have the athletes and talent, but coaching will be the decisive factor in this one. They will start a drive pounding teams with the run and stretching the field. Then boom a dumb drive-erasing penalty. Westfield don't generally get into scoring shootouts because their defense hasn't allowed them to occur. They had no chance against North Shore early in the season after losing their SMU-bound QB to injury and having to use their best WR to play QB with only a week of practice. I actually picked NS to win the division 1 title.

Longview is a monster and if WF continue the dumb penalties and turnovers their season will end in a very ugly manner lol. Good luck to both sides, I can't wait!

It’s supposed to rain in Waco on Friday and Saturday, but definitely could change. It’s always windy in that city.

I will say this... Horn was the instigator of alot of the stuff that happened in the game friday night. The Coaches from Westfield decided that it would be best if they didn't shake hands to prevent things from possibly escalating. Especially after one of the Horn kids spit on a Westfield kid during the final kneel of the ball. #32 from Horn had to be escorted from field by police because he was trying to get the Westfield kids even after the fact.

Longview should be right at home then in that event.

Westfield weak spot is QB play. They are good at every position but QB. Force their QB to pass and you will be golden. Westfield wants to play a grind it out game while Longview wants to make it a track meet. Horn did have the players to make it a track meet while Longview does. If Longview limits it's turnovers they will be headed to the next round.

That’s what I’m thinking. This feels like thr Westfield offense will be similar to what we saw against Vandy yesterday. At least in the sense of trying to control the clock etc.

Stop the turnovers, and the Lobo offense should be fine.

Westfield has always concerned me but this Lobo team is so different from the past. Three more boys.
