Maybe the best or second best pass catching team we may face. I think we can have some success up front. Our pass rush, if holding is called early and often as it should be, can help our coverage team. I think our offense will be able to do their job. Defensive pass coverage scheme must be solid. I am sure some trick plays will be used so coverage guys must stay home and trust the guys up front. Go Lobos, 1-0.

We have a couple of guys injured. When will they return? This week would be great.

Looks like a lot of rain on Saturday, any chance they move the game to an indoor venue or another day?

King refused any indoor stadium. Aledo tried to get the Star, but King said nope.

I struggle to see how they stop Taylor Tatum, just from seeing them a couple times. If Allen is on, and we can get the ball in Hale's hands, that just creates even more problems for them.

Defensively, we will have to be absolutely solid no doubt. Getting pressure will be key.

At the end of the day, if we play Lobo football, limit the penalties and hopefully no turnovers again, we should win. But Aledo is Aledo. Still feel confident.

I feel very confident that our secondary will be able to hold up against yalls WRs. The RBs on the other hand are a different story. That will go a long way to deciding the game.

Do you worry about the LV play calling being too conservative?

Has the district given the public any long term projections about growth relative to if/when Aledo hits 6A size? Just curious...

No idea. Its possible we never go 6A and split before then but Idk if the announced where the 2nd HS would go. I do think they already have the land though.

The TD that #2 had against Timberview receiving was actually impressive. Really good catch.
